The Path To 9/11
On the eve of the fifth Anniversary of 9/11, it is very appropriate
to consider what is at stake in the war on terror. I just finished watching
The Path To 9/11 on ABC. Very intense but it gives a good historical
perspective of events from the '93 bombing of the Trade Towers leading up
to 9/11. The second half is on tomorrow night. It was about 2
1/2 hours with no breaks or adverts. Except a brief disclaimer inserted I
guess to try and appease the Clintons who are apparently screaming bloody
murder that it is a right wing propaganda hit piece. On ABC? They
are not really know for their bias for "the right wing". They
even tried to get ABC to not show it at all. Apparently they never heard
of the first amendment rights of free speech!
What are the Clintons so worried about anyway? Let me guess.
8 years of neglect and bungling? If you can't put any blame on the Clinton
Administration then how can we expect to learn from their mistakes?
What are we suppose to do? Just absolve them all and give them a free
pass? There is a lot of blame to go around for 9/11 so why can't they
bear their share with a little grace and class? Personally I'm not interested
in a witch hunt but I am interested in the truth. And I'm especially
interested in it not happening again.
I had hoped that all Americans had learned the lessons from the tragedy
of 9/11. From the controversy surrounding the showing of this production
apparently that is not the case!
It would be nice if we could put aside our differences and Stand United
once again, shoulder to shoulder, in the light of God that never fails!
